WKU’s Master’s degree in Adult Education, which is housed in the Department of Educational Administration, Leadership, and Research, was recently recognized in the annual College Choice rankings. College Choice is a website that seeks to to provide online resources to help students find the best undergraduate and graduate programs based on their needs. Programs are rated on a combination of factors including quality, reputation, value, and student satisfaction. College Choice rated WKU’s program as 14th among Best Online Master’s Degrees in Adult Education/Learning and as #2 in the category of Most Affordable online programs in the same field, with an average program cost of about $11,000.
“We were honored by this recognition,” said Adult Education program coordinator Dr. Jim Berger. “Our students and program faculty have worked hard to make Adult Education at WKU high value at low cost.”
WKU’s Adult Education program serves students from a wide variety of fields, including business and industry, the military, community education, and other education-related careers. The fully online program, which can be completed in about one and a half years, offers specialization tracks in general adult education, higher education, community and technical college education, and training and development.
