WKU’s College of Education and Behavioral Sciences will host Mr. Neil Calvert, Headmaster of Long Eaton School (United Kingdom) for a special presentation on Monday, August 31, in the auditorium of Gary Ransdell Hall. Mr. Calvert will speak at 3:30 p.m. Central time on “Teaching and Educational Leadership from an International Perspective.”
The Long Eaton School is a secondary school of 1,300 students ages 11 to 18. The school has gained national recognition for its work in international education and developing and international dimension to its curriculum.
Mr. Calvert’s team also works extensively in initial teacher training both in the UK and with overseas institutions and has hosted student teachers from WKU since 2011.
Admission is free and all are welcome. A reception will be held after the talk in GRH 2064.
